Inclusive Green Economy Vision for Kavango Regions, Namibia

This study presents an Inclusive Green Economy Vision for the Kavango West and Kavango East Regions of Namibia. The study, commissioned by WWF in partnership with the Government of Namibia, examines the status of the regions’ economy and natural capital, and imagines the possibilities for developing the region along a more sustainable green economy trajectory. The report outlines the status and risks of each of its sectors, and how they might be developed using green economy principles. It considers the synergies and trade-offs between the different sectors and identifies the priority areas for development. Finally, it provides some targets for advancing the vision.
